We’re very proud to have done solid training work with Winnipeg Fire over the past few months. The weather isn’t always welcoming when you go to Winnipeg, but the Department certainly is. Winnipeg, under the guidance of former Prince George Chief, John Lane, wanted to brush up their incident management skills and take a fresh look at how they employ fireground strategies and suppression tactics. While our role was largely to reinforce what in-house training had been providing, sometimes it takes people from “outside” to come at things in a fresh way.
